A magus is a being who knows how to use his hands not only to tune in to the forces that surround him in space but also to project, channel and orient them, or to amplify or reduce their power. In the Brotherhood we are in the habit of raising our hand to greet each other several times a day. This is a deeply significant and efficacious gesture, but only if you are fully conscious of what you are doing, and if your eyes and your hand are brimming over with love that you project for the benefit of the whole world. Our greeting should be potent, harmonious and alive – a true communion.
